It’s still unclear whether Geno Smith is a worthy of the #1 overall pick, but when a team like the Chiefs is desperate for a new QB, the value gets a bit erased. While they could go the free agent round, a new head coach may want his own QB to groom (as opposed to Alex Smith signing), and Geno is the best in this class.
